Unit 1 Check List

Task 1 – 3 web pages (home Done/ conglomerates V. indies Done /the institution you are studying Done)

Task 2 – Database about institution and show plus textual analysis with examples (P, M, D) Done both need to upload video onto webpage

Task 3 – Audience Profile  for the show (P) plus link to uses and gratifications theory (M) and vox pops for a (D) Done 2 vox pops

Task 4 – How the programme is advertised and distributed (technological convergence must be mentioned) (P)

Task 5 – Audience effects theories and legal and ethical considerations of the show. How the show might be identified against passive/active audience theories, representation. Legal and ethical –royalty payments/ ASA/BCAP code of broadcasting practice. (P) Link broadcasting codes to the show directly (M)

Either vlogs or websites should have reference to being educational – quizzes /key terms.
